Historically, the cornerstone is the first stone laid for a structure, with the rest of the building built in reference to the stone.
About
When it opened in 1871, St. Patrick's Catholic Church served the Irish immigrant population from the surrounding a neighborhood named Hibernia in Burlington. St. Patricks was in use until 2002, when the parish closed the church and began planning for its demolition.
The Heritage Trust undertook negotiations with parish officials and was able to obtain title to the building. With funding from Trust members and grants, dedicated volunteers did much of the rehab work, restoring features such as the hard wood floors, stained glass windows and hand painted woodwork. St. Patricks began its new life as a community building, Hibernia Hall, in Fall 2006.
In 2018, it underwent another sale and remodel, modernizing the amenities and revitalizing the space with new paint, LED chandeliers, and more!

Since then the hall has become the setting for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, meetings, showers, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, banquets and brunches.

We have curated a dynamic staff to take care of all of your event needs. Owner, Megan, is a certified Wedding & Event planner and is at your disposal for all your planning questions, concerns, and ideas! Owner, Logan, is a seasoned DJ who makes sure the venue is acoustically balanced at all times while making sure all of our innovative tech is working perfectly!

Combined with an expert staff, we create the intentional space, remove the stress, make your guests feel welcome, and the ambiance glowing! We can take the guesswork out of the timeline, finding quality vendors, and layout and décor design! We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service & hospitality. Combined we have over 20 years in the event industry, have worked 100s of events, and treat every client like they're our family.
